James Higgins grew up in Melbourne, Fl. where he finished high school, and went on to attend college at Edison Community in Port Charlotte, Fl.
     
He worked in "Productions Unlimited" for 10 years; he booked bands, and worked as a D.J. at weddings and private parties.  His experience carried over to Starchild - he helps book events and parties here as well!
    
 He also worked as a D.J. at the famous "Crazy Moon" Night Club in Port Charlotte for 5 years, and was Assistant Promotions Director and part time D.J. for Clear Channel Communications.
    
James started his career as a psychic on the "other side" of the table, so to speak.  He went for readings.  He became so interested in how it was done, that he decided to buy himself a deck of Tarot cards, and things took off from there.
    
James began reading for friends, and friends of friends, and began to surprise even himself with the accuracy of his insights into their lives, as well as his uncanny ability to predict future events.  He began to receive letters and initials, sometimes even whole names, in his readings.  He realized that he was channeling most of the information he passed along to his clients, and that it often came from people who were dead.
    
He was hooked.  He decided to go professional, and that's how he ended up here at Starchild.
    
One of the turning points in James' life that proved to him without a doubt that he is a future-oriented psychic, and led him to know that he was supposed to use his gift to help people to better their lives and to avoid the pitfalls he could often foresee, was a precognitive dream he had.
    
In his dream, he went into a bar that he'd never been in before, and he went in to the back room.  A fight started, and he was in the middle of it.  Many people, including him, were injured.  Six months later he went into the bar for real, and immediately recognized it.  When asked to go into the back room, he refused, and therefore changed the events he foresaw.  The fight never started, and no one was injured.  Jay knew that by foreseeing the event, and changing how he handled it, he had altered "fate".  He has since helped many other people to recognize and change potentially "dangerous" happenings in their lives!
    
James' favorite pastimes are golfing and bowling.
